The NFL has scored a major touchdown with its latest spokesperson: supermodel Marisa Miller.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Sports Illustrated cover girl has been tapped to promote the NFL's special events for the 2010-2011 season, including the Oct. 31 International Series game between the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos in London.

"I'm so excited to have this incredible opportunity to partner with the NFL," says the former Victoria's Secret model -- though her management tells us she's still a VS Angel -- and longtime 49ers fan. "I've grown up watching football my whole life."

In promos for the overseas game, shot by Cartel and lensman Brian Bowen, NFL "SuperFan" Miller -- who once bared her bottom during a celebrity football game -- sports vintage 49ers and Broncos gear altered to show off her killer body.

In one, she wears a torn black 49ers tee with short-shorts and high heels; in another, she wears a long-sleeve gray jersey draped off her shoulder with to-the-knee football pants.

"Going to the U.K. for this game is going to be a blast," Miller says of tackling her new gig. "I'm looking forward to helping gain new fans and show them how incredible the game of American football is!"

NFL Vice President of International Chris Parsons tells the Hollywood Reporter, "Marisa's love for the NFL and our sport made her ideally suited for this role. We look forward to working with her."
