"Project Runway" for the fifth grader? Not exactly, but supermodel Heidi Klum's new Lifetime reality show will feature the mother of four and "PR" host cracking up with familiar creatures: adorable little kids.

In the same spirit as the late Art Linkletter's vintage "Kids Say the Darndest Things," Klum will star in "Seriously Funny Kids."

The show will feature the model mom interacting with little ones, "bringing out the hilarious and often insightful things they say," according to a network statement.

Hmmm. "Interacting with children." Sounds a little bit like the crybaby dynamics in the season 8 "Project Runway" workroom, doesn't it?

This time, though, Klum is going to muck it up with the subjects, who have an excuse for behaving like hysterical preschoolers.

"Someone once told me never to work with animals or children, so I decided to drop the animals and stick with kids," Klum said in a statement.

"I have four children under the age of six, and to be honest, sometimes I enjoy them more than adults. They're uncensored, unpredictable, and absolutely hilarious."

Klum, who is already an executive producer on "Project Runway," will take on similar duties for the new series.

This latest announcement helps make sense of enterprising Klum's recent decision to hang up her Victoria's Secret wings.

With several new clothing lines in the works, including a maternity collection, activewear for New Balance, and modeling a second time for Ann Taylor's holiday campaign, the designing supermodel mom deserves to just hang out with the wee ones and chill.

The new series will launch sometime in 2011.
