At the 32nd Annual Carousel of Hope gala, Jennifer Lopez proved that the "no white after Labor Day" rule is officially obsolete.

The newly appointed "American Idol" judge wore an asymmetrical gown from the Georges Chakra Couture Spring 2011 collection, and completed the look with a matching clutch by Daniel Swarovski and taupe pumps.

While we're all for breaking the rules, the combination of the stark-white color and the tulle train makes this dress look very bridal. However, there is nothing pure and innocent about that slit-up-to-there.
