While pictures of Katy Perry and Russell Brand on their Oct. 23 wedding day have yet to be seen, the first images of Mr. and Mrs. Brand have emerged, showing the newlyweds leaving India and boarding a private plane for their honeymoon, which is reportedly in the Maldives.

In the pictures, Perry and Brand wear a mix of Western and traditional Indian garments. Brand dons bright pink pants, a camel-colored sweater around his waist, a white tee, flip-flops, and sunglasses, while wrapping himself in a deep red printed fabric.

Perry, who turned 26 yesterday, used a matching red wrap to shield herself from the sun (or the paparazzi), paired with a sheer white dress with embellished trim and white gladiator sandals worn over henna tattoos on her feet.

It seems she has also kept her nath, a bridal nose ring with a chain that drapes across the woman's cheek and is typically removed by the groom on the couple's wedding night.

However, since Perry is once again wearing sunglasses with the nath, it might be some sort of faux nose ring that she's sporting. (See Perry heading to India wearing the nose ring-sunglasses combo.)
