Designer Christian Siriano is the most famous "Project Runway" alum, a status attributed to his considerable talent and youthful ability to fashion multitask -- or so raves "PR" judge Nina Garcia.

So it's no surprise that Siriano is in on the launch of another stylish venture bound to make ambitious season 8 "PR" winner Gretchen Jones jealous: Send the Trend, an e-commerce site featuring of-the-moment accessories such as classic aviator glasses, shoulder-skimming earrings, and quaint headbands -- all at surprisingly affordable prices.

The site gives shoppers confidence by having a team, led by chief stylist Siriano, lend their sartorial advice. As if that wasn't enough to entice us to open our wallets, shipping is free!

The über-busy Siriano took time to chat with StyleList about the dos and don'ts of accessories and his "j'adore'" of studs -- natch!

StyleList: Send the Trend is designed to take the fear out of accessories shopping. What's so scary about it?
Christian Siriano:
Nothing is scary except if you wear too many at once it can be a bit overkill. It is never on-trend to be overaccessorized.

SL: What appealed to you about the e-concept?
CS
: I thought it sounded genius because people shopping now have no time. We basically do all the work and pick something that will look great depending on what you already love. And it's free shipping, which is the best when shopping online.

SL: With all your business ventures, how do you find the time for Send the Trend?
CS:
It's all about a team! And a nice boyfriend who understands when I'm working like a crazy person. Fashion is a 24-hour-a-day service. I found that it's my ready-to-wear business, Payless, and Send the Trend that I'm working on most. I am the founder of two of those companies, and Payless, I love so much, so I think it makes sense to go in this direction.

SL: Is there an accessory on the site you would pair with something from your Spring 2011 collection?
CS:
Yes! The Martine sunglasses in red and the Noelle & Lisbeth necklaces layered together. Spikes and knots! My personal taste is a little edgier, even if some of my designs are not.

SL: So many women are guilty of accessories overload. How do you figure out what's just enough?
CS:
It's simple: Take one thing off before you leave the house. I know it's supercliché, but it's true.

SL: You picked several favorite pieces for the site and they all have studs. Is that what you're into for fall?
CS:
I love studs. I love 'em for winter, spring, summer, or fall.

SL: You recently sat in as a guest judge on "Project Runway." What was that like?
CS:
It was a great experience to be on the other side and it's fun. Loved it.

SL: How will you communicate with Send the Trend clients about things you love?
CS
: E-mails! And an event we're doing in Miami next month. Maybe I'll deliver some X-mas presents in New York City. The thing I love to do most with my ready-to-wear customers is meeting and talking to them. It's how I learn the most about my customer and grow!

SL: Finally, do you have any tips on using accessories to create a personal style?
CS:
Wear a neutral outfit like all black or khaki tones and then accessorize and experiment until you feel like yourself -- that's what style is. It's about mixing what you love and things you would probably normally never wear. Just take risks!
