You may know designer Douglas Hannant for his elegant evening and bridal wear. He's developed a loyal following of sophisticated women after perfecting his craft for the past 13 years. So, it's only natural that he venture into fragrance and lingerie.

Hannant will reveal the über-luxury perfume called Douglas Hannant de Robert Piguet tonight at his boutique in New York City's The Plaza Hotel.

According to a report in WWD, Robert Piguet Parfums approached the designer about a potential collaboration. Perfumer Aurélien Guichard of Givaudan created the scent, which is hand-poured into bottles, labeled and individually sealed with silver thread as a touch of elegance that Hannant's clients have grown to adore.

The fragrance will be available in stores February 2011, but Neiman Marcus has 150 limited-edition bottles that will retail for $350 during a charity event and trunk show in Palm Beach, Florida on January 27, 2011.

Hannant will also launch a lingerie collection in January with licensing partner Sensual Lingerie Inc. that will consist of three distinct lines -- essentials, bridal and signature. The pieces will likely bare the designer's refined and feminine design sensibilities.

Cozy winter nights will be the perfect occasion to up your romance factor under Hannant's sensual new direction.
