Country music's biggest stars flocked to Nashville, Tennessee for the 2010 CMA Awards.

Dressed in Emmy-worthy gowns, some of our favorite singers (and actresses) left their bold eyeshadow and red lipstick at home and hit the red carpet wearing classic makeup looks: smoky eyes and nude lips.

Blonde beauties Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Gwyneth Paltrow caught our attention with their flawless complexions and nude lipstick combos. Underwood, co-host of the CMA Awards, played up her glossy lip color with soft pink blush and shimmering gray lids.

Twenty-year-old Swift revamped the understated hair and makeup she wore last night at the 58th BMI Country Music Awards. Her winged tip eyeliner made her blue eyes pop and balanced out her matte, nude lips and chic updo.

Gwyneth Paltrow held her own alongside the country crooners with sleek, straight hair, dewy foundation, flushed cheeks, and a frosty nude lip.

Meghan Linsey, one-half of the country duo Steel Magnolia, shined on the red carpet with her platinum blonde bob. Her smoky eyes, lush lashes, perfectly, arched brows, and glossy lips are definitely a hit in our beauty book!

Martina McBride's piercing blue eyes stood out thanks to shimmering, smoky eye makeup, soft pink lipstick and brunette locks.

Actress Katherine Heigl reminded us of a young Grace Kelly with her teased updo and cool, smoky eyes. She rounded out her look with rosy cheeks and lips.
