Ken Paves, hairstylist and ex-confidant of recently engaged Jessica Simpson, has a new reality gig.
The celeb stylist will cut it up with this season's "The Biggest Loser" contestants on the show's highly anticipated Nov. 23 makeover episode, NBC confirmed to StyleList.
Paves takes over the transformational role that's been filled in past seasons by "Project Runway"'s Tim Gunn, Tabatha Coffey of "Tabatha's Salon Takeover" and former "Blow Out" star Jonathan Antin.
The seven remaining contestants will consult with Paves at his Hollywood salon. After Paves works his scissor and color magic, the made-over players will strut their stuff in a Ford Warriors in Pink Fashion Show with host Alison Sweeney. Then they're off to a People magazine photo shoot.
Sounds like the losers are in for a day more typical of some of Paves' A-list clients, including Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Fergie, Ashlee Simpson and, of course, her blonde and beautiful older sister.
Paves, who starred with Jessica Simpson in her short-lived "Price of Beauty" reality show, sheepishly confirmed last month that he and Simpson had parted ways in what some observers speculated was a feud sparked by her intense focus on groom-to-be Eric Johnson.
Paves blamed the distance on their busy schedules.
