When the ladies of Farmhouse Fresh recently made a trip to New York City from Texas to unveil their latest Southern sweetness, the StyleList offices had to be on their list of places to stop.

After falling in love with the decadent body crème Whoopie! -- a moisturizing shea butter that reminded me of my grandmother's baking delights like 7-Up Cake, Million Dollar Pie and Angel Food Cake -- I could only imagine what beautifying goodies they had blended since.

And when I took one whiff of the new pumpkin-fortified Splendid Dirt Mud Mask, I had to know first-hand the skin care benefits behind this yummy face treatment.

Packed with 12 active minerals including yogurt cultures, pumpkin, Bentonite clay, Illite clay, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, this deep-penetrating mask was just what my oily and acne-prone skin needed.

As a beautyaholic (and self-proclaimed obssessive compulsive), I started my at-home treatment by cleansing my face with Farmhouse Fresh One Fine Day Flawless Face Polish -- a fine grain exfoliator mixed with vanilla fruit oil, sunflower seed oil, Vitamin E, grapefruit, lemon, line, tangerine, and my favorite, shea butter.

The citrus-filled product removed all dirt, washing away debris in a frothy layer down my bathroom sink. Patting my skin dry, I was shocked at the level of hydration and absence of dryness -- as most polishes leave my face stripped of moisture.

Then I applied a thin layer of the intoxicating Splendid Dirt Mud Mask in circular motions to my face, staying clear of my eye area. Within seconds, my face started to tingle from the yogurt and clay mixture. And when I peered into the mirror, I looked like a photograph of Cleopatra from my high school history book -- skin sealed into perfection by a rusty-orange facial mask.

I was definitely loving what I saw so far!

After about 10 to 15 minutes, I rinsed off the mask with cool water -- generously soaking my skin to ensure that I had fully removed the product.

The Splendid Dirt Mud Mask had gotten deep enough to remove the excess oil in my T-zone and dry up a pimple that popped up after devouring multiple servings of sweet potato pie topped with whip cream.

I'm no longer tempted to prick or pick at the blackhead on my upper cheekbone because the mask had zeroed in and diminished its appearance.

Farmhouse Fresh Splendid Dirt Mud Mask has definitely earned a spot in my beauty closet. And at just $20 for a 3-ounce glass jar with 14 to 16 applications, I'm sure my fellow oily and acne-prone skin readers will love it, too.
