In her feature film debut as Ali in "Burlesque", Christina Aguilera plays a small town girl who uses a little -- OK, a lot of makeup, false eyelashes and a curling iron -- to transform from a waitress to an on-stage sensation who sings and gyrates her way to fame.

Celebrity hairstylist Frida Aradottir is the mastermind behind Aguilera's spiral locks and she shared her insider tips for creating this sultry, sexy look:

When hair is dry, take small sections and curl with a small barrel curling iron. Repeat around the entire head.
