According to this press release, the "multi-year collaboration" with the NFL-star-slash-Mr.-Gisele-Bündchen will be the first men's marketing initiative for the unabashedly UGG-ly Australian footwear company.
Brady will model casual UGG footwear, outerwear and accessories for the brand beginning with the Fall 2011 campaign, as well as "consult on product inspiration" for future collections.
"This partnership marks a new season for UGG Australia and Tom Brady is the ideal first endorser for the brand," UGG's Angel Martinez said in the statement. "He embodies the stylish casual attitude that is at the foundation of every product we make and is as much a style icon off the field as he is a playmaker on it."
Before signing with UGG, Brady recently inked a contract with Under Armour (see his first ads here) and looks to be taking this whole modeling thing seriously.
"I have worn and loved the UGG brand for a long time," Brady said in the statement (perhaps not 100 percent convincingly). "This collaboration gives me an opportunity to work with a leading global brand with a great history and a true vision for the future of its men's collection. It's an exciting time to be part of the UGG Australia team."
