Need to wow someone with a personalized present this holiday season? Or maybe you just want to show off your impressive design skills?

Salvatore Ferragamo
has you covered. Fans of the label's footwear can now play designer with the brand's new Red Carpet project.

According to WWD, the Italian fashion house has created an initiative that lets customers custom-design their own formalwear shoes, choosing from six styles ranging from pumps to sandals. Clients will be able to select from 23 different satin colors and can personalize their creations with a monogram, as well. The process will take about six weeks in total.

The Red Carpet project launched in conjunction with the release of Angelina Jolie's flick "The Tourist." Ferragamo designed a collection of shoes for Jolie's character, Elise, in collaboration with the film's costume designer, Colleen Atwood. The brand's classic stiletto pump, now dubbed the Elise, was reissued as a limited edition that hits stores around the world this month.

The new project will make its debut at Ferragamo stores internationally in the near future, and the brand will offer different customizable options from season to season.
