Who wouldn't want to consult with the celebrity stylists responsible for the look of "Sex in the City," Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Lopez, Diane Kruger or Rachel Weisz, to name a few?
Look to eBay: Fashion stylists Kate Young, Rebecca Weinberg, Britt Bardo, Annabel Tollman and eBay fashion expert Karen Bard are answering style questions, dishing out holiday shopping and style tips, and sharing their own personal wish lists via Twitter (@eBay_Fashion) every day this week.
Young kicked things off on Monday, Dec. 6, from 12 to 2 p.m., with eBay's Bard manning the Twitter feed Tuesday, Dec. 7. The week's remaining schedule: Weinberg on Wednesday, Dec. 8,; Bardo on Thursday, Dec. 9; and Tollman on Friday, Dec. 10.
"We did this a couple of months ago with Annabel (Tollman) and it was so successful," Bard told StyleList. "People are constantly asking what to wear for work holiday parties and special events. We're sharing what we're finding, and it's a really nice way to communicate in real time with consumers. They have a direct line into us every day."
In addition, the e-tailer is hosting a special vintage designer sale through eBay Fashion Vault until Wednesday, Dec. 8, featuring more than 15 designers including Gianni Versace, Courrèges, Azzedine Alaïa, Moschino, Oscar de la Renta and others.
Curated by Ricky Serbin, the treasures span from the 1960s to the 1990s and range from size 0 to size 10.
"The prices are insane -- from $100 to much more expensive," Bard explained, adding, "Vintage is part of eBay's core DNA. There's everything from the rare to the kitschy, the fabulous and fun."
