Russian Vogue is now on international newsstands.

The $30,000 gold Balmain dress that has already graced seven magazines is closing the year with a record eighth cover, adorning Russian Vogue on the stunning and controversial Alina Kabayeva.

Kabayeva is a member of Russian parliament and former gold-medal-winning Olympic rhythmic gymnast who is rumored to be, um, close friends with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

So, StyleList won't be calling Ms. Kabayeva a copycat. At least not within earshot of the Russian Federal Security Service (formerly the KGB).

So let's focus on that dress: We thought its cover girl days were over when Anne Hathaway flaunted its down-to-there neckline for the December cover of Elle U.K.

The sexy number also appeared on covers featuring Cindy Crawford (Vogue India), Claudia Schiffer (Zeit Magazine), Natalia Vodianova (British Harper's Bazaar), Toni Garnn (Vogue España), Anna Della Russo (10) and Abbey Lee Kershaw (Vogue Germany).

Putin, for the record, has publicly denied rumors that he and 27-year-old Kabayeva are an item, and one Russian tabloid was shut down for saying as much.

Still, something has got the still-married prime minister singing songs about finding his thrill lately. Click here to see his kitchsy rendition of Fats Domino's "Blueberry Hill."

And speaking of repeat fashion offenders, see how Claudia Schiffer has a knack for wearing the same outfit on consecutive days.
