Actress Gwyneth Paltrow
isn't known for her daring red-carpet
style, but on Dec. 14 at the premiere of her new film, "Country Strong
," she wore a floor-length white dress
by Emilio Pucci
that elicited wows from the crowd.
The front of the dress appeared to be simple, covering Paltrow's shapely figure entirely. But once she turned to show off the reverse, people realized it was backless and slashed across her left hip.
The slit continued down her leg, giving onlookers quite an eyeful, as it also revealed that Paltrow was not wearing anything underneath. The overall affect was almost as daring as Elizabeth Hurley's barely there Versace
safety-pin dress, which was voted one of the most iconic dress of all time
The 38-year-old actress let her frock do that talking -- adding only strappy black sandals and a Sutra ring.
