We've always been a fan of MAC Cosmetics' playful take on beauty. From over-the-top celeb collaborations (including Lady Gaga) to surprising historical references (the Tartan Tale collection), the innovative beauty brand always keeps us wondering what will come next.

And this holiday season they're at it again, toasting the New Year with a champagne-inspired shimmer collection, a vivid full-spectrum color line, a mascara that creates the illusion of false lashes, and an electric peacock-pigmented palette.

Read on for all the pretty details...

Cham Pale Color Collection

Cham Pale Color and Skin Collections:
With lustrous shades like "sparkly pink peach," "frosted pale bronze," and "sheer pale gold," this collection makes it hard not to achieve a goddess-like glow. The line contains a full-range of color products, from paint pots to Lipgelée to Nail Lacquer. It also includes the Special Reserve Highlight Powder in new soft gold with silver shade, as well as, the rose shimmer best seller, Rosé Olé.

Also launching under the Cham Pale collection is a premium skincare line inspired by "the finest quality pale cuvee." The Complete Comfort Crème is an ultra-rich facial moisturizer that relieves visible redness immediately and soothes the skin with French lavender. The collection is rounded out with M∙A∙C Fix + Lavender, Lip Conditioner SPF 15 + Lavender, and Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF 15 + Lavender.
Available December 26, 2010 through mid-February 2011.

Stylishly Yours Color Collection:
If you're looking to switch up your signature look, look no furthur than this vibrant color collection. You can mix and match the full spectrum of colors, from raging red to bright violet, for an endless array of standout looks. With four lipsticks, four pigments, four colour bases, two beauty powders, Clear Lipglass, Zoom Lash, and Fluidline to choose from, you'll be able to play for days.
Available December 26, 2010 through mid-February 2011.

False Lashes Mascara:
This mascara gives you the look of false lashes sans the sticky fingers. A new mega-multiplication formula creates the illusion of falsies by thickening the lash and creating extreme volume and curl. And the uniquely engineered double-lush brush ensures that no lash gets left behind.
Available December 26, 2010 in the permanent line.

Peacocky Color Palette

Peacocky Color Palette:
Inspired by the exotic beauty of the peacock, this collection fans out in a foray of intensely pigmented shades for the lips and eyes. The hues hark back to the glamourous, Gatsby-esque '30s with their high impact and mesmerizing metallic sheen. The new Kissable Lipcolour uses elastomer technology to impart a velvety, aerated feel, and the Mega Metal Shadow glimmers with its light-reflecting properties.
Available January 6, 2011 through mid-February 2011.
