Carine Roitfeld Style Evolution
By now, everyone has learned that
Paris Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld is leaving the magazine after a 10-year tenure. Whether you
suspect she was fired or is simply leaving on her own accord is irrelevant to her impact on fashion. Although she is being laissez-faire about her next moves, one thing is certain: Style fans far and wide will miss her overtly sleek getups.
Roitfeld is slated to leave the French fashion bible in January, and presumably won't be attending the
Fall 2011 shows the following month. To tide you over for the time being, here is a selection of some of her more outré attire.
Favoring labels such as
Givenchy,
Tom Ford, Roberto Cavalli, Azzedine Alaïa and the like, Roifeld has always dressed with confidence and her own brand of je ne sais quoi. Take a peek at some of her top looks - from sheer lace ensembles to a T-shirt bearing her likeness to an incredibly chic one-shouldered gown - and let us know what you think by
leaving a comment!
