INSPIRATION: "Downtown, innovative luxury" was the catch phrase stated on the press release.

WHO WAS THERE: A bevy of chic editors hanging out at the iconic Plaza Hotel.

ACCESSORIES: Always, all the time!

WHAT WE THOUGHT: Sang A delivered yet another season of elegant, subdued handbags for day, work and weekend. Exposed, oversized zipper details – featured on the Wave, a soft-square tote with quilted wave panel; the Cross, a rounded duffel bag; and the Drop, a semi-structured long tote with graphic contrast body – somehow seemed delicate in the design hands of Sang A Im-Propp.

For those of us who don't care for brights, we're in luck. The color palette was rather cool for spring with stony grays, crisp black and white contrast, and brushed burnt-gold python highlights.
