Watching "Hellcats" star Ashley Tisdale strut down the blue carpet of the 2011 People's Choice Awards, we couldn't help but wonder if the actress' absurdly orange skin tone was the result of her own doing, a tanning salon prank or if she had been an innocent bystander in a catfight between the cast of "Jersey Shore."

Either way, one thing is certain: Her overly-bronzed look detracted from her feminine Farah Angsana dress.

Tisdale, whose CW series was nominated for Best New TV Drama, virtually blended in with her printed floor-length gown due to her bronze complexion.

With her dark brown locks pulled into a loose chignon, which paired perfectly with her flowy strapless dress, the former Disney diva could have been a blue carpet hit had she only taken the tanning down a notch.
