Katie Holmes brings the Va, va, va, VOOM to her Elle magazine photo spread in February's issue. Maybe it's Katie's come hither stare or the backless Tom Ford silk she's wearing -- either way, Mrs. Tom Cruise is smokin'.

But maybe it wasn't Katie's (or the stylist's) doing. Maybe it was Suri, 4, who made mama so sexy?

"The other day we came out of a store, and she said, 'I want to go there,' pointing at another store quite a distance away. In that store was the dress that she wanted. I said, 'Wow, Suri. You're something. You picked that out from a football field away,'" Holmes told the mag.

She may just be entering kindergarten but Suri already become that snarky friend that you want telling you not to wear your fat jeans.

"She'll really tell me [what she thinks]. Like today I'm wearing brown suede pants, and she said, 'I don't like your pants.' But then she'll say, 'You've got to wear these shoes.' Or 'That's so pretty, Mom. Wear that.' She's got a great eye," Holmes says.
