When Kristen Stewart stepped on stage last night at the 2011 People's Choice Awards to accept her "Best Actress" award, all eyes were on her sparkly gold mini-dress, towering black heels, long shapely gams and of course, her beautiful lengthy locks.

Celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel from Frederic Fekkai said he wanted to create a 1960s look that was sexy and full of texture. We adore how the volume at the crown gives way to soft, flowing waves. We also love the resurgence of the Sixties era we are seeing lately!

Here's how Abergel achieved the "Twilight Saga" star's retro 'do:

-- He started by applying the Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Volume Styling Whip throughout the hair.

-- He roughly blow-dried her hair with his hands until it was almost dry. Then, using a round brush, Abergel blew the rest of the hair straight so it was smooth and soft.

-- Finally, he then curled the hair using a 1 1/4 inch curling iron and combined the Fekkai Coiff Ocèanique Tousled Wave Spray with Fekkai Advanced Brilliant Glossing Cream to create a full and sexy texture that would last through the night.
