Petra Nemcova's finally got her own happy heart!

The 32-year-old Czech supermodel/philanthropist, who tragically lost her photographer fiancé Simon Atlee in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, is engaged to British actor Jamie Belman, UK Vogue reports. She founded the Happy Hearts Fund to help countries struck by natural disasters.

The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model has been dating Belman, whom she met through mutual friends, for about eight months. The couple have not announced a wedding date.

Handsome Belman is best known for his work on the popular UK series "Missing" and role in the 2008 film "Somers Town."

The newly-engaged pair spent the Christmas holidays visiting and celebrating with their families, the mag reports.

Nemcova, a runway staple who has also worked for Victoria's Secret, barely survived the 2004 Tsunami which struck while she and Atlee, were vacationing in Thailand. She was swept away by raging ocean waters and clung to a tree for eight hours before being rescued. Atlee drowned.

Seriously injured, Nemcova founded her philanthropy to assist children impacted by natural disasters.She is its president and devotes much of her free time to the Happy Hearts Fund's efforts.

Nemcova was also linked to actor Sean Penn before meeting Belman last year.
