Hunky soccer star David Beckham took to Facebook this morning to announce that he and his wife of 11 years, Victoria Beckham, are expecting a fourth child this summer.

The message revealed that "the boys (sons, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5) are very excited about the arrival of a new brother or sister."

Last month at the Sports Personality of the Year Awards, Beckham spoke publicly of his love for his wife after winning the Lifetime Achievement Award: "Of course, I want to thank my wife and my children. Not only has she given me three amazing boys... she is truly an inspiration for me every single day."

The pregnancy announcement comes as Victoria lands her sixth British Vogue cover, during which admits to the mag that she has given up hope of having a baby girl.

The clothing and handbag designer -- who was recently declared more influential (style-wise) than the Queen -- opened up to Marie Claire this past fall and revealed her advice from Marc Jacobs and why she's proud of her work in fashion.

It is very likely that the new member of the Beckham family will have great fashion chops, just like his or her older brother Romeo.
