Robert Burns Day is a huge Scottish holiday celebrating the legendary poet who was born in 1759. In Scotland, 30,000 people flock to Ayrshire, Burns' hometown, for a major festival that fetaures concerts and fireworks while others host celebratory dinners.
Our girls, however, are celebrating by adorning themselves in Scottish garb and Carole's Victorian jewelry-- and they're taking pictures galore for the rest of us to fawn over! Carole's Victorian collection is filled with agate stones, sterling silver, anchors and kilt pins that can be worn alone or all at once, as the Beckermans prove!
Click over to their blog for more pics and info on what they're wearing and where to buy it.
And for those of you in the Toronto area, the Beckerman girls are hosting a Sample Sale with Canadian designers Jenny Bird and Dean Davidson, featuring clothes, bags, jewelry and vintage finds at 40-80% off!
Dates: February 4th (12-8 PM) and February 5th (12-5 PM)
