Last night was all about the curls. At least for Mila Kunis and Hilary Swank.

The two actresses stepped onto the red carpet at the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles, California with exceptionally gorgeous waves.

Kunis, who was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, wore her rich brunette hair long and loose. We love how the soft curls cascaded onto her flowing red Alexander McQueen strapless chiffon gown. It gave the "Black Swan" actress a certain delicate and romantic persona.

Continuing the flowing, ethereal style of the evening, Swank rocked her own set of curls and an airy gown. The 36-year-old beauty styled her honey-blonde tresses with soft waves that accentuated her off-the-shoulder Versace nude chiffon dress. While we're used to seeing Swank with straighter strands, she looked just as gorgeous with a voluminous 'do.

TRESemmé celebrity stylist Mara Roszak, who styled Kunis' hair for the event, shared her secrets on recreating the look yourself:

Step 1: Apply TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse to wet hair.

Step 2: Part the hair slightly off-center and blow dry with a medium-sized round brush.

Step 3: Curl in sections with a one-inch barrel curling iron and then break up the curls with fingertips.

Step 4: Spray all over with TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Hold Hairspray so the style lasts throughout the night!

Hollywood stylist Robert Vetica was the mastermind behind Swank's bouncy curls and said he was inspired by the sensual lines of her dress and the iconic '60's hairstyle from Hollywood's Bond girl, Ursula Andress.

Vetica shared his tips to recreate the beautiful look:

Step 1: Blow-dry hair using Moroccanoil Treatment to instantly condition, bring dry ends back to life and make the hair easier to style.

Step 2: After the hair is dry, curl the entire head in one-inch sections, starting at the nape of the neck pinning each section to the head when done. Work your way up to the crown and then to the sides and the top of the head. "When I finished, it had the look of a 60's roller set, which could have been done using hot rollers," Vetica said.

Step 3: Spray entire head with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray and let it sit for 20 minutes.

Step 4: Remove the set and give hair a good brushing. Take a small amount of Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream to give the hair a touch of weight and ensure body.

Step 5: Finish with a good backcombing at the root and spray again. "I brushed out most of the backcombing except at the crown, running my fingers through the hair to loosen it up," added Vetica. "I then backcombed a bit more at the crown, gave it another spray and lightly brushed over the top."
