While the ladies in our StyleList Network have wildly different styles, they all seem to share a fondness for bright and/or patterned tights. Whether it's to elevate a basic ensemble or add more wow to a statement-making one, our girls prove there are no rules when it comes to incorporating tights into a look, only fabulous results.


Never one to shy away from all things bold and bright, Chloe Beckerman from Beckerman Bite Plate contrasted an edgy, black-and-gray look with a pair of blaring hot-pink tights, adding a cool '80s feel to the mix for a fresh style that was uniquely her own.

Audrey Dettmar's love of funky tights is well documented on her blog Homerun Ballerina.
We love the way she added a modern spin to a retro, nautical look by teaming a striped top and vintage red pencil skirt with punchy blue tights for a an unexpected twist.

The Clothes Horse blogger Rebecca Roe took a different approach and taught us a lesson in livening up muted pieces by pairing a black skirt and brown cardigan with showstopping red tights.


Claire Geist from Faboo Madness created the ultimate school-girl-gone-glam ensemble by combining preppy basics with edgy jewelry and sexy red pumps. The real scene-stealer in this look has to be those shimmery gray patterned tights, which round out her eclectic mix perfectly.

Also showcasing a schoolgirl-inspired style is Lucrecia Chan from Fashion Is Poison. She accessorized her plaid skirt and blazer combo with metallic flats, a '20s-style bucket hat and precious heart-printed tights, adding a flirty, feminine feel to the look.

And finally, there's Christine Cameron from My Style Pill, a major polka-dots proponent who showed you really can wear them with anything by completing an eclectic preppy, retro-inspired look with a sweet pair of navy-and-white polka-dot tights.
