It was a lot to handle. It seems like it was a lot of handle for good old Liz too, who had to help Kim out a little throughout the interview. When Kardashian asked Taylor what it is like to be a queen. Taylor gently reminded her that she just played one onscreen, she was never crowned in real life.
"I have never wanted to be a queen! Cleopatra was a role, and I am an actor, so it was fun to play one, but it's not real," Taylor told Kim K.
And when Kim asked Liz for love advice, reminding her that she is six husbands and heaps of jewels behind Taylor, Liz simply replied that Kim should, "follow your passion, follow your heart, and the things you need will come." Unfortunately that's not gonna get Kim the Krupp diamond.
The best advice Taylor gave Kardashian had nothing to do with men or jewels, rather it dealt with tempering her persona on Twitter.
"I like the connection with fans and people who have been supportive of me. And I love the idea of real feedback and a two-way street, which is very, very modern. But sometimes I think we know too much about our idols and that spoils the dream. So, like all things, it is to be used with care!" Taylor advised. Wise words from a wise lady, especially to a girl who tweets that she brought a burrito on a plane.
If Kim is a little promiscuous with her Twitter sharing, she doesn't want to be known as promiscuous in her personal life, which is hard when cameras are tracking her every move.
"But what if I want to go on a date with someone in New York, and then I come home to L.A. and I go on a date? I could have slept with none of them, but I would be known as being"a 'slore': a slut and a whore," Kardashian says.
Maybe that's what the Sphinx in Egypt has been pondering all these millennia?
