Backstage at Carolina Herrera's Fall 2011 fashion show, the beauty teams perfected an elegant fall look comprised of flawless skin and wine lips, a sleek updo hairstyle and dark and moody nails.

THE SCOOP: Influenced by the fall collection's strong and sophisticated style elements (and the woman behind the masterpieces), Diane Kendal created a beautiful face using the basics of makeup. Brows were defined and eyes enhanced with a thin stroke of liner on the top lids. She brushed on a soft, rosy blush to the models' cheeks in a shade coined Angel. But lips were the focal point thanks to a delicate, wine lip stain.

Orlando Pita added a masculine touch by styling locks in a sleek updo with a deep side part. Instead of going for the traditional chignon or French twist, he "enveloped" the hair into a reverse bun.

Wanda Ruiz and her team of manicurists rounded out the look by painting models' nails in a deep red shade to mimic the jewel tones found in Herrera's French aristocrat meets town and country-inspired collection.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: All makeup by MAC. Prep skin with Face & Body Foundation and Studio Careblend Pressed Powder (available this fall). Brush on Angel Blush on cheeks for subtle color. Create a thin stroke of Black Creme Liner on top lash line for a slight winged-out effect. Curl lashes and apply mascara on the outer corners. Finish look with a wine lipstick like Prince Noir (available this fall) and pat down to stain.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: All hair products by MoroccanOil. Condition strands with Treatment. Blow-dry hair straight using Hydrating Styling Cream with a round brush to create sleekness and add volume. Create a low, side part and pull hair back into a low ponytail, letting one side sweep across the side of the face. Tuck hair in, almost like an envelope and secure with bobby pins. Set the style with Luminous Hairspray to polish and control flyaways.

GET THE LOOK - NAILS: Nail polish by CND. Cut and file nails into a short, rounded tip. Polish in two thin coats of Dark Ruby, allowing each layer to dry in between. Finish with one coat of Super Shiny for a slick finish.
