WHAT WE THOUGHT: Finding warm sweaters that are sexy, elegant and flattering -- and don't look destined for a ski lodge -- is many a woman's challenge in the cold months. That's why we loved the fitted "loop" sweaters and textured vests Shaun Kearney showed for Cynthia Steffe for Fall 2011 (in a show co-sponsored by StyleList). They'd be perfect at work with a pencil skirt or even for a dinner date. Coats, too, were standouts, particularly a two-tone made of lovely gray brushed wool and a wide black leather strip at the hem. Kearney has a way of making leather and heavy wools look sculpted and pretty, and we'll enjoy wearing them even when we aren't enjoying the cold weather.
