Melissa Rivers, panelist and executive producer of E!'s "Fashion Police," wants to do a show from New York, evaluating the fashionistas attending the shows.
"We think 'Fashion Police' for Fashion Week is a great idea," Melissa told StyleList at the Elie Tahari show. "We tried to do it this year, but it's always a budget thing."
Plus, the timing was off. "It's smack dab in the middle of awards season. We had to make the decision -- do our viewers want us to go to fashion week or do an hour on the Grammys?"
Melissa and her mother Joan Rivers are friends with Tahari -- but they were looking for some fireworks.
"You're always happy when somebody goes down," Melissa said.
Joan added: "You always want to see a hungry girl slip."
Perhaps this attitude is why Joan was wearing and evil eye pendant that was bigger than a fist. "You can see how many enemies I have -- I have to carry an evil eye the size of China," she cackled.
