Douglas, looking trim and healthy following his battle with cancer, is a longtime friend of Kors' business partner Lawrence Stroll. The "Wall Street" actor has attended shows before with Zeta-Jones, who was sporting full, wild hair. And they weren't the only celebs in the house.
Bette Midler, Anjelica Huston, 1970s model Patti Hansen and Rene Russo, whom Kors wardrobed for "The Thomas Crown Affair" remake, all sat in the front row. Joining them were Debra Messing, Angie Harmon and youngest celeb in the house Emma Roberts, who hit several shows throughout Fashion Week.
The designer moved the celebration Wednesday evening to Bemelmans Bar at the Carlyle hotel for some late-night revelry (his soon-to-open store and planned party locale at 67th and Madison on New York's Upper East Side, was unavailable because of construction delays). Just call him the Energizer Bunny.
We hope we recover in time for the 40th anniversary.
