Jennifer Aniston's New Bob Haircut

"Friends" lovers, rejoice! The most requested haircut of all time is back! Well, sort of.

Jennifer Aniston has cut her long blond locks to a bob haircut somewhat reminiscent of her signature Rachel cut, made famous during the mid-1990s.

The 42-year-old actress shocked fans when she stepped out for a photo call yesterday in Madrid to promote her new film, "Just Go With It." Aniston began the transition to the short side a few weeks ago when she lopped off a couple of inches for the movie's premiere. But she took things to another level with her new shoulder-grazing cut -- the same length as her infamous 'do all those years ago.

Worn straighter, slightly shorter in the back and a shade lighter than her 'do on "Friends," Aniston's new look seems to us an updated version of her old one. A modern Rachel, if you will.

It's no secret that the actress has long been a celebrity icon when it comes to hair. Over the past decade, we have seen her transform her highly coveted locks from sleek to wavy to light blond to a honey blond. But one thing remained: the length. At least until now.

As much as we were a fan of her longer 'do, we have to admit we may like this one more. Heck, we may even go running to the nearest salon with the chic photo in hand (somehow, we think we won't be the only ones).

She looks 10 years older! I just can't tell if it is the hair fut, hair color, or the make-up. Didn't she just put down the so-called "hated" rachel cut? Seems like this is just another version of it to me too (as stated in article). She is becoming as boring as gaga and Jolie, same old, same old!

I think the cut looks okay, but I like her longer hair better. It's gotta be tough though always having everyone "judge" your latest looks. But then again I guess that comes with the fame of being a celebrity. Be sure to get all the samples from hTTp://bIt.lY/freebiesdaily this week. They had a few hair products, f r e e magazines subscriptions, some snacks, games, music downloads and all kinds of fun stuff. It's one way to feel like a celebrity without spending all the cash I guess.

I couldn't agree more with you! They're all boring. Jolie and Aniston both play the same roles that made them famous in every movie. Aniston with her Rachel role and jolie with her Mrs. Smith role... They're both lame. And Gaga? eeew, don't get me started. You know you're time is almost up when you have to hide yourself in an egg to keep 'em interested...

I do not think she looks older at all. I think they used to little in this picture. If you look at the original picture: http://www.skincareblog.net/2011/02/22/jennifer-anistons-new-hairstyle/ where they show more of her I think she looks younger.

I really don't think she is all that special like everyone thinks she isn't a good actress she will never win a academy award that's for sure. Angela Jolie has it all over her !
