Bridget Moynahan Deals With Tom Brady and Gisele 'Daily'

For as long as she lives, Bridget Moynahan probably won't be able to shake the tale of how she was ditched for supermodel Gisele Bündchen while pregnant with Tom Brady's child.

Coupled with the fact that women of a certain age associate her with her "Sex and the City" character, Natasha, who was famously cuckolded by Big and Carrie, Moynahan has come to represent the woman scorned.

But she doesn't seem bitter. Judging by how stellar she looks on the cover of More magazine in a winter-white Emporio Armani wool viscose suit, with what appears to be nothing underneath, she doesn't really have any reason to sulk. When asked about Gisele and Tom, she is properly diplomatic.

"I never made a comment about Gisele or Tom publicly. I have a relationship with these people on a daily basis," Moynahan tells the mag. "I'm raising a child, and it's public...my son has two loving parents and an extended family, whether it's cousins or stepmothers or boyfriends. My son is surrounded by love."

Brady has been in her life since they split and he was present for the birth of their son, John, but Moynahan sets the record straight that he wasn't there for the delivery.

"He was not in the room. He was there on that day and came in afterwards. He certainly wasn't holding my hand while I pushed," she says.

After giving birth and realizing she was going it alone, the "Blue Bloods" star says she began "hyperventilating."

"Every time my dad mentioned he had to go (home to Massachusetts), I'd start crying...(but)...there's not a second I regret having a child on my own."

For more on Bridget's life as a single mom, competing for a man with Sarah Jessica Parker and how she manages to at least look like she is holding it all together pick up a copy of More, on newsstands today.

One thing I can say. Bridget Moynahan has class. Tom Brady, though, he plays part on his son's, John, life now did not do enough to really qualify himself as a model dad. He should have refrained from getting involved while Giselle was pregnant at the time even though they already have broken their relationship. He should have put some self-sacrifice for the sake of the baby that's coming out of Giselle. What a shame.

Can't keep thinking that Moynahan got pregnant on purpose to try to wrangle a commitment out of Brady. Remember, she announced the pregnancy after they split. Then and again, I am not a big fan of Bundchen's either. Too bad Leo DiCaprio couldn't reel her in and leave Brady to find someone with smarts, looks, a pleasant attitutde and certainly without an ego the size of the continent.

If he wasn't IN the delivery room, then he wasn't "present for the birth".

SHE may not have any regrets, but I bet her son wishes she'd gotten married first instead of gotten knocked up out of wedlock. Who cares about her? It's the boy that will pay the price of not having an intact family, and you'd darn well better believe it makes a difference. SHE has class?, according to one comment. Hardly. She was doing a guy she wasn't married to. There's no class whatsoever in that. And she's not bitter? I sincerely doubt that. How humiliating to have been dumped while pregnant. Of course she's not going to say it was hurtful and embarrassing. But I guarantee you, this was no ego boost or self-esteem builder. Sure, Brady's a bum, but so is she.

Having sex isn't wrong. Sex is a natural and beautiful human connection. Just because your not married, doesn't mean that you shouldn't explore that part of your human nature. Sex isn't wrong. Sex is natural. You can make mistakes though, of course, such as having sex with a man that you love, but finding out he never really loved you. Everyone makes mistakes. It is not our mistakes that matter (because we all have and will continue to make thousands a year) it is our actions. Of course she didn't plan on being pregnant, but she didn't shirt the responsibility, she is financially and economically able to care for a child, thats amazing, she isn't on welfare. She did everything to care for her child the best way she could. She doesn't speak badly about the people who screwed her, she is mature and does the best for her child. Why do you feel that you can insult her and frown upon her? Have you never made a mistake in your life?? Have you never been in love? You need to take a long and serious look at yourself, and if you can find that you are perfect in every single way, than your probably not human and than you can isult people, but intil than, how about we try using our brains and compassion?

My parents divorced when I was very young, and I'm doing just fine, thank you very much. My so called father was a drunk and abusive, but I guess my mother should have kept our family "intact" huh? Yeap, I would have grown up much better off. I would say the person with no class here is you, you judgemental b#tch.

Spare us the sanctimonious diatribe. You have no way of knowing what that child's quality of life is and whether he would be better or worse off had Bridget and Tom been married. If Bridget hadn't had premarital sex and become pregnant with John when she did he wouldn't even be alive today. He wouldn't exist. Are you suggesting that this is preferable? And just to let you know, you can get hurt and embarassed without being bitter. It's called getting over it. I recommend you do that along with getting over yourself.

You can call the original poster ignorant but the statistics are clear that children born to a single mother have more problems in life. They are in the highest poverty bracket and females often seek attention from men. It doesn't matter if you want to believe otherwise--google the facts. The facts don't change simply because you wish it to be true. It matters if there is a father in the picture. Those that say my father was a drunk so my mother did the right thing might want to consider the fact that your mother might also have chosen a man that would be a good father.
I know it happens-- and we make the best of what we do with our lives but it doesn't change the statistics or facts about children raised in a single parent household. Don't go all cap lock on me--google the facts!

@elizrichardson and colleen - Well you two are quite the judgemental little b**ches, aren't you? Bridget Moynahan's son will grow up just fine. As she said, he is surrounded by love, and his parents are both financially successful, so I find it hard to believe that he would ever want for anything. Instead of railing against her (how DARE a woman enjoy sex! Only men are supposed to do that!) you could say all hte same things about Tom Brady. If he wanted out, he could have done so without sneaking around on the sly. Do you honestly believe that he didn't hook up with Giselle until after he and Bridget split? And to the mental midget who is suspicious of Bridget's motives based on when she announced her pregnancy, is Tom too much of a stud to put on a condom? You think she got pregnant on purpose? Where does HIS responisbility in all this lie? Typical bs, blaming the woman for everything. Bridget Moynahan IS classy, far classier than the bunch of ignoramouses on here who are calling her a tramp. I bet you all consider yourself "good Christians" too, don't you? Hypocritical morons.

Did it not occur to anyone that she may have entrapped Tom by getting pregnant intentionally when she felt him slipping away?

Of course. Blame the woman. It's not like he has any control over his penis or anything. I guess he never heard of condoms. WTH is wrong with women like you? Show you a halfway decent looking guy, and you're ready to forgive him anything. I'd tell you to be ashamed of yourself, but I doubt you are capable of that, any more than you are capable of compassion or common sense.

@Elizrichardson

If you're going to judge Bridget Moynihan for getting pregnant without being married why aren't you also ripping into Tom Brady for having premarital sex? The double standard is alive and well and going by the screen name it's being perpetutated by a woman against another woman. How sad.

I think she was very brave to have the baby. She could have taken the easy way out as that seems to be what most girls who get CAUGHT do. I think she is brave and beautiful and wish for her and her child all of the best this world can offer her.

You can't blame Brady for wanting to trade up. I'm sure when Gisele's voice becomes a little piercing to the ears, she'll be shown the door as well

I think she was very brave to have the little boy after finding out she was to have the baby alone. She could have taken the easy way out, the out that so many take after being left alone. I wish only the very best for her and her little boy. Bless them both.
