Don't know about you, but we've officially hit our limit with winter. Last week's warm weather was a teaser for spring, followed by nothing but bitter wind and freezing rain. We've spent lots of time daydreaming about skipping town for sunnier climes. So for this edition of "The Weekender," we've put together a dream look for a Caribbean getaway.

Style tips:

Caftan: Nothing feels as glamorous on a getaway as a breezy caftan. It shields your skin from harsh rays, covers problem spots by the pool and can double as a cover-up and effortless dinner outfit.

Bathing suit: Solid-color suits are great investment pieces. They're versatile -- change up the accessories for different looks -- and darker shades flatter your skin regardless of how tan (or, in our case, pasty) you are.

Aviators: Tired of the ubiquitous Wayfarer shades? Switch to aviators. We think there's no more classic or flattering a shape.

Sandals: Crochet is big for Spring-Summer 2011. If you're nervous about rocking the trend in dress or shirt form, try dipping in your toe (literally) with these sandals. They'll give any outfit a touch of boho glam.
