Sonia Kashuk went mad for wicker and rope this spring, and we're pleased she did.

As always, she's adding more value to her chic line for Target. And this season, Kashuk's launching individual brushes and sets made with organic materials that make us want to flaunt them, not stow them away in drawers and pouches.

For instance, our favorite item in the lineup is the limited-edition Gold Mine 7-Piece Purse Brush Set. Usually, we shy away from brush sets because we prefer to pick and choose our brushes one-by-one, but this set had us at "Gold Mine." Is it a makeup-brush holder or a purse? You decide. We've already worn the clutch out on our beach holiday and got more than a few compliments. And at $24.99 for seven brushes and a purse, you just can't go wrong.

We're also feeling the love for a few other items launching for Spring: the Super Shimmering Highlighter ($9.99) and the Instructional Eye Shadow Palette ($19.99). We tried the highlighter, and much like Kashuk's Super Sheer Liquid Tint Blush, a teeny-tiny drop is all you need for the prettiest veil of warm shimmer on your temples and cheekbones. It just makes skin appear more luminous, but not disco-ball-ish.

As for the Instructional Eye Palette, we're embarrassed to admit that even after years of interviewing makeup artists and trying every shadow in the book, we still haven't mastered this art. Kashuk offers the 12-shade palette in two versions, one filled with buildable neutral shades and one with a more colorful seasonal array, that experimental types will enjoy. Each palette includes instructions for three different eye looks, and when followed, are genuinely helpful to even the clumsiest of eye shadow users.
