Thandie Newton was pretty in a bright floral print at the
Louis Vuitton Party for Sam Taylor Wood in London on March 15.
The actress chose a boldly patterned Louis Vuitton shift dress for the event honoring her fellow Brit. Wood, a filmmaker, photographer and conceptual artist is the French brand's latest muse and first to pose for Vuitton's new Double Exposure campaign, according to
Vogue.
Thandie -- who must have a love affair with
patterned dresses -- added black strappy sandals (to match the dress' black piping, natch) and a metallic silver clutch.
The 38-year-old actress wore a creamy rose lip gloss, which looked amazing against her caramel skin tone, and a soft pink eyeshadow. But it was the gravity-defying
top knot -- an intricate addition to her east-meets-west ensemble -- that really had us in awe. It's a bold look, and Newton pulls it off beautifully.
Meanwhile, Louis Vuitton's ad campaign
celebrates age.
