Spring is a natural time of renewal and the perfect excuse to try something different! Your look can be made fresh, trendy and fun with just a few creative tweaks to your hair. To find out how you can get the hottest haircuts of the season, we asked top celebrity stylists around the country for their recommendations on the best looks.

Here is what they had to say:

Master stylist and former "What Not to Wear" star Nick Arrojo says volume and bedhead waves are perfect for the upcoming season. "Don't be afraid to create a devil-may-care, rock 'n' roll look and go bolder and more dramatic."

The Look: Undercut Bowl
How to get it: The bowl is a simple, classic cut made famous by the likes of Eva Cedric. This undercut version makes the bowl better than ever. By combining undercutting with asymmetry, it has a flatter, smoother look, extra length, and modern swing and movement. Locks are best styled with just a little hair crème and left to air-dry. Works great on women with petite features.

The Look: Cropped Bowl
How to get it:
This is an equally cool, shorter cropped bowl shape. The style embraces a weightless rounded shape, with graphic fringe emphasis drawing attention to cheekbones and eyes. It's easy to style, fun and flirty, and a trendy way to wear your hair this spring. For a sleek blowout, use defrizz serum and a flat paddle brush. Finish off with a flatiron and some shine spray.

The Look: Loose Texture
How to get it:
If you fancy something still super cool, but perhaps a little longer, go for a mid-length shattered shape with loose, flexible texture and versatile styling options. This cut has a wispy, light feel with a piece-y texture and movement. It works great with soft edges and a sweeping side-parting, drawing attention to the beautiful features of the face.

The Look: Choppy Pixie
How to get it:
Another classic cut that can be made edgy and cool this spring is the pixie. Get it cut with a razor for loose, choppy texture, separation and piece-y quality. Add texturized bangs too, so the fringe is movable, carefree and easy. It's a great cut for a hip young girl because it's modern, edgy and fun. This cut couldn't be easier to style, just tousle with texture paste.
Celebrity inspiration: Ginnifer Goodwin

Celebrity stylist, Ted Gibson says spring is going to bring about a slightly more polished look, with braids, soft waves and long bobs. "During fashion week, I styled Lela Rose's Spring collection using a pretty side braid that will be very on trend this season."

hottest haircuts for spring jennifer aniston

Jennifer Aniston. Victor Chavez, WireImage

The Look: Shoulder-Length Bob
How to get it: The longer bob is being seen all over Hollywood. It's a cut that works on nearly every face shape. You can wear it straight and sleek or loose and wavy. To style, blow-dry hair with a firm styling spray. Then use a medium-size round brush as you dry to create volume. Run the ends through a flatiron for a smooth look. Finish off with a light hairspray to prevent any frizz.
Celebrity inspiration: Jennifer Aniston

hottest haircuts for spring halle berry

Halle Berry. Dr. Billy Ingram, WireImage

The Look: Ultrashort Pixie
How to get it:
This cut isn't for everyone, but it's perfect for women with a more angular face shape and delicate features. Someone who's confident and feminine can pull this off. To style a pixie cut, apply a glossy spray when wet, scrunch with fingers and let air-dry. Or for a smoother more polished look, dry with a paddle brush. Then use your fingers to add a little texture and mess.
Celebrity inspiration: Halle Berry

Paul Perez, celebrity stylist at Sally Hershberger in Los Angeles, says the hottest styles this spring are influenced by days gone by. "Whether long or short, we are seeing a huge '60s and '70s comeback -- anything from disco divas to more classic Hepburn-esque shapes. Take your inspiration from the past trends and add your own modern twist!"

hottest haircuts for spring keira knightely

Keria Knightely. Jon Furniss, WireImage

The Look: Classic Bob
How to get it: If you thought the bob was passé, guess again. Women are creating more movement to the style by either adding loose curls or layers. For a little more fun, you can always give yourself a '20s-inspired hairstyle by making the curls a little tighter and loosely pulling out the curls with your fingers into a desired shape.
Celebrity inspiration: Keira Knightley

hottest haircuts for spring january jones

January Jones. Frazer Harrison, Getty Images

The Look: Collarbone Cuts
How to get it: A fresh look for spring comes two ways but is actually the same length. It sits at the collarbone or just a little below. The layers are on the longer side, or you may choose to wear bangs for an edgier look. You can wear it straight or with a loose curl. If the layers are longer, there should be more styling involved. Hot rollers or Velcro rollers are a good option. For maximum results, let them set for a few minutes. When you take the rollers out, brush hair lightly into a desired shape.
Celebrity inspiration: January Jones

spring 2011 hottest haircuts vanessa hudgens

Vanessa Hudgens. Andrew H. Walker, Getty Images

The Look: Bohemian
How to get it: One look that never gets old is the bohemian style for medium to long hair. It's generally cut all one length or with ultra-long layers. Looks best parted down the middle and worn straight or loosely curled. You can even wear this style with bangs. For some added fun, add a small braid down the side.

Amazing how easy it is to spot women today who are guilty of "male envy":)

You do know, women 40 years ago didn't have long hair after the age of 30. Plus, you wouldn't say that a man with long hair had "woman envy".

Wow,, how much do gay hairstylists hate women to make otherwise very attractive women look this bad. If these women look like this can one imagine what ordinary women would look like?

AMEN Mary, I just copied and saved her doo to show my very gay and very talented male hair artist. I always admired her cut, since I have naturally curly hair. Long hair is not always complimentary. My daughter and I for one look much sexier in short.

Some of these hairstyles are just flat out ugly for women. Just because someone is a celebrity doesnt mean normal women want to look that way. And Halle Berry is lucky enough to be able to overcome anything a stylist does to her. The rest of us are not that lucky.

The Mohawk on a female works only for successful gay female rockers. Pixie cuts should be outlawed on anyone whose ears stick out or has anything other than a thin, pretty face (Halle Berry would still look good bald so she can get away with it). Only the very young and pretty can get away with the "bedhead" look but it still looks unkempt. The haircut that suits just about any face shape is the classic shoulder length bob, parted as suits the shape of the face, layered or not depending on hair thickness (fine or thin hair should NOT be layered, despite what I often read) and with or without bangs depending again on face shape and personal preference. It can be pulled back or worn up and generally requires little management other than wash, condition and dry. Take that, ridiculous stylists!

i'm a stylist and thats is so wrong as long as the person is comfortable in there style then it will look good. long or short. doesn't matter the size of the ears or face. u have to know you look good and rock it.

The collarbone cut and the shoulder length bob are nice. The bohemian is cute, but would only work on a young person, and while I normally like a short bob the one shown looks as if she just rolled out of bed. The rest are just terrible. When my oldest daughter was three she gave her friend a hair cut that looked better than the rest of these styles. If this is what's popular for spring the term ugly American is gonna take on a whole new meaning.

Give me a head with hair long beautiful hair. Love these fads first the trend is short than the next trend long extensions. Instead of going for a short cut go, for a short wig. If you like it go for the short cut. If not only harm done you own a short wig.

These are not new cuts for this spring. I think most of the photo's are at least 1 year old.

Seriously?! The pixie cuts look like Justin Bieber hair gone bad... absolutely nothing feminine, beautiful, or even "cute" about them--ugh! I have friends who sport pixie cuts quite well, but these pixies look like someone cut them with grass clippers... if this is what the celebrities are wearing, I'll keep my "average jane" look, thanks...

That undercut bowl is U-G-L-Y and a couple of others as well. That Jennifer Aniston's BORING cut is the same one she's had all her life. Nothing new about that.

These R absolutely HIDEOUS! Keria Knightely'S hair is the only exception, very pretty. But Bob's R nothing new. I think the stylists and salons R always pushing these super high maintenance cuts & dye jobs, and massive amounts of product; so that, guess Y? Make more money! DUH! Maybe if they actually made people look good, they would have lots of business! :)

These are the ugliest haircuts I have ever seen, especially Scarlett Johanssen's. The only good one is Halle Berry's. The gay stylists are really trying to make these women as ugly as they can!

I agree the first half of the doos are horrible, and the first lady looks like she knows it and is not very happy about having a very freaky hairdoo with such a pretty face. The new mohawks remind me of how we use to comb our babies hair and the babies of 60 years ago. Every time I look at an adult with one I think it looks very, very silly. Hally berry does look good in a pixie but the dress she had on in another article makes her look like a woman body builder with a dress 2 sizes too small. Carrie Underwood in the same article looks very classy and beautiful in her long light pink dress. I love that color.
