Talk about shocking!

Evan Rachel Wood made quite the statement at the "Mildred Pierce" premiere in New York City last night when she hit the red carpet rocking newly honey blond hair.

We're still gasping from the drastic hair color transformation.

The 23-year-old actress ditched her famous magenta-red hair for a much lighter blond hue. But she wore her signature Veronica Lake-inspired waves and dark lipstick -- maintaining a bit of familiarity.

We love how Wood paired her new honey hairdo with a plum, long jersey sleeved Elie Saab gown and vintage-style earrings. And her milky complexion, perfectly arched brows, winged liner and perfect flush rounded out her red carpet look.

Have no idea who she is but I will say her hair looks horrible this color. You can tell this is not her natural color and it looks terribly fake and actually dirty

I don't really know her either - connected with Marilyn Manson. Buthow can you say "newly blonde" when there's at least an inch of dark roots showing?

Who ? Why does every celebrity think they need to be blonde ? After seeing every celebrity go blonde they all look the same. Just like the Kardashians. Why would anyone want to look like the Kardashians. It comes with a stigma. If you look like a Kardashian you are considered to be drama queens, stupid and a complete idiot.
