Some of the most stylish stars decided to hang tough in leather pants -- a trend typically reserved for biker boys. And sailor stripes are a classic way to update any dress shape: long or short. So follow the lead of these gals because these season-less staples aren't going anywhere!

LEATHERHEADS:

Miranda Kerr was spotted leaving Los Angeles International Airport in a pair of Bird by Juicy Couture leather leggings and an over-sized sweater. The Victoria's Secret model accessorized with a pair of Alexander Wang Anouck Beatle boots and metallic purse.

Gwyneth Paltrow appeared on The Early Show to cook a dish from her book, "My Father's Daughter" in a pair of The Row's leather motorcycle pants and a printed silk blouse by Peter Pilotto. The sometimes "Glee" actress kept it casual in a pair of Bloch ballet flats and a chunky gray sweater.

Charlize Theron was ready to rock in tight leather pants and a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers screen printed tee. The 35-year-old South African actress accessorized her rocker chic look with a white blazer and leather clutch. A severe side-part and gothy painted nails completed the hard-edged ensemble.

STARS IN STRIPES:

A fresh faced Jennifer Hudson showed off her slender figure in Beverly Hills, California while wearing a Rachel Pally Spring 2011 maxi dress. The actress added chunky platform sandals.

Halle Berry and her beau Olivier Martinez were caught leaving lunch in Los Angeles, California. The actress was summer-ready in a navy and white striped maxi dress. A simple charm necklace and over-sized shades were perfect final touches.

Time for a little pick-me-up. Maybe the "Grey's Anatomy" star was working the night shift, hence the double dose of caffeinated beverages. Either way, we love her look for running errands: baggy stripe shift dress and a pair of clogs for comfort.
