While my road trip won't be anything like Romy and Michele's glam jaunt to their high school reunion or Jack Nicolson's too-cool-for-school joy ride in Easy Rider the idea of exploring the heartland is ultimately romantic and a once-in-a-lifetime treat.
So I have Refinery29 to thank for mapping out the essentials for three different destinations: the Pacific Coast, the South West and the Southern zig-zag. My trip will take me from Seattle, Washington back to NYC -- so my wardrobe (or what I can fit in my travel bag!) will consist of classic Americana staples: striped shirts, Levi's jeans and aviator sunglasses.
So head over to Refinery29 for more travel tips. And if you're panning a road trip let us know what you're packing for the ride in the comments section below.

The advice is really helpful. As I 'm a sunglasses fanatic, I always think a pair of excellent sunglasses is the most necessary one for the trip. I happen to know a good website here, http://www.tomfordsunglassess.com. They have many stylish sunglasses with fairly competitive price. I've bought one pair and they fit well on me. You guys could also go and have a look.:)
