We couldn't think of two better shopping partners than Brad Goreski -- formerly Rachel Zoe's right-hand man, now self-sustaining stylist -- and Christian Louboutin.

Brad Goreski -- who may site Demi Moore as one of his celebrity clients -- stopped by the Louboutin store in NYC to reveal the three pairs shoes every woman should have in her wardrobe -- red soles are optional! The first pair is 100 percent functional and fashionable: flats, the most transitional shoes on the planet. The second pair that Goreski deems essential is the summer-friendly wedge. And finally, what shoe collection would be complete with out the show-stopper?

And while we approve of his top three picks, we're not sure about his suggestion for a summer stiletto.
