It looks like Sarah Jessica Parker and Cheryl Cole's stylists may have gotten their finger stuck on the volumizing hairspray nozzle.

The "Sex and the City" star and "X-Factor" judge were both spotted at separate events this week wearing extremely big hair that reminded us of '60s divas.

Parker attended the Robin Hood Foundation Gala in New York City last night in a pumped up hairdo and curve-hugging purple gown, while Cole greeted fans outside of "X-Factor" auditions in Los Angeles on Sunday, donning bodacious strands, an orange ruffle top and purple pants.

I'm all for adding extra oomph to my limp locks, but would you step out in hair up to there?

Y'all have to remember about 'pagent' hair, commonly called "big" hair now is the old addage, "The bigger the hair, the closer to God."

I love big fluffy hair, not the flat stringy look. But I much prefer Cheryl's do, it is not as overly done as Jessica's. I'm an 80's girl and have never given up my big fluffy hair!

OMG - Cheryl Cole has got to be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Of course, she is pictured next to, well, someone much less attractive. SJP just looks stupid - like she got a ride to prom on the back of someone's Harley. I love big hair. It looks healthy, and feminine.
