With the Cannes Film Festival in full swing, we can expect to see an endless array of over-the-top gowns and plenty of plumage on the red carpet. And the star-studded event hasn't disappointed: In fact, two trends we've been loving -- feathered frocks and show-stopping Valentino designs -- have been spotted stateside this week as well. Here, a roundup of our favorite looks.

Emily Browning looked beautiful at the "Sleeping Beauty" premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in a Valentino embroidered gown. The nude hue was an glamorous choice, and her flawless makeup only added to her glowing look.

So what if her "Sex and the City" alter ego is trillions of dollars in debt? Actress Sarah Jessica Parker looked like a million bucks at the New York City Ballet spring gala in New York City. SJP had the hemline of her romantic Valentino pre-fall 2011 dress altered to a floor-length version and added a cross-body bag for instant downtown edge.

Donning a Valentino fall 2011 halter minidress Keira Knightley was seen waving to fans after an appearance on "Daily Show With Jon Stewart" in New York City. The Brit opted for a pair of pheasant feathered ankle strap heels (from the same Valentino collection) and simple cocktail ring.

Clemence Poesy chose a playful canary yellow Chanel tweed dress with a feathered hemline for the Chanel Collection Croisiere Show 2011-12 in Cap d'Antibes, France. The "Gossip Girl" steered clear of any Big Bird references with champagne colored accessories like her satin clutch and YSL peep-toe pumps.

Uma Thurman struck a pose on the stairs of the red carpet for the screening of "Midnight in Paris" and the opening ceremony, at the Cannes Film Festival in a Versace fall 2011 RTW strapless feather gown. The actress accessorized with Jimmy Choo sandals, and Chopard bracelet and emerald drop earrings.

Diane Kruger made her way through the crowd with boyfriend Joshua Jackson and designer Jason Wu while entering Crown Restaurant in New York City. For the dinner, the German-born actress chose a fringe and lace number from her dinner partner's fall 2011 RTW collection and Tabitha Simmons heels.
