Beyoncé's highly-anticipated music video for "Run the World (Girls)" debuted during American Idol on May 18 and it was filled with high-fashion looks from Givenchy, Pucci and more.

The Texas-native recently told Billboard Magazine, "I feel like my job in the industry is to push the limits, and I have to constantly evolve." Her latest track isn't just about testing new waters, she continued to tell Billboard, "It ["Run the World (Girls)"] reminded me of what I love, which is mixing different cultures and eras -- things that typically don't go together -- to create a new sound. I can never be safe; I always try and go against the grain. As soon as I accomplish one thing, I just set a higher goal. That's how I've gotten to where I am."

Bey's got the golden touch in this Gareth Pugh Fall 2011 turtleneck dress with metallic scales and matching . The singer chose matching Laruicci jewels. Gareth Pugh shoes and once revealed, "I love Gareth Pugh, he's amazing. His work is so different. The dramatic shoulder pads make your waist look teeny tiny and it's very structured and graphic and modern. I think the contrast of his garments and my personality is really cool. And I get to dress up and be whatever I want."

Here, our not so Single Lady paired some Norma Kamali fringed shorts with a dark bustier and gold Giuseppe Zanotti harness. Matching Brian Lichtenberg vest and fringed Alexander Wang heels were necessary for the post-apocalyptic dance number.

This ain't no mellow yellow. The 29-year-old chose a bright yellow Emilio Pucci gown with strategic cut outs and daring slit for one dance scene. She added black Sergio Rossi "Talisman" gladiator boots with studs and plumes.

The wife of Jay-Z -- who will be honored with the Millennium Award at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards -- sported an intricate Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 Couture gown with bold shoulders for a hot minute.
