Kanye West raps about "my chick in that new Phoebe Philo" in "Dark Fantasy," from last fall's critically acclaimed My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. But it was the rapper himself who was spotted wearing a silk foulard-print shirt from Céline's spring 2011 collection while performing at Coachella this past April. And this week, Jessica Simpson followed suit, opting for another take on the boho-chic blouse, in a deep green hue (though, as far as we've noted, Simpson has yet to pay lyrical homage to the French fashion house).

Kanye left the shirt unbuttoned, pairing it with jeans from another French luxury brand -- Balmain -- and accessorizing with piles of gold chains. Simpson put a different spin on the look, which she wore to lunch with friends at Balthazar in NYC's Soho neighborhood, rocking glam oversize shades, distressed bell-bottoms from her namesake denim collection, and a smart brown leather satchel.

This isn't the first time Kanye's been seen sharing a unisex design with a female celeb. This winter, West and Liv Tyler wore the same Rottweiler sweater from Givenchy's fall 2011 menswear collection to the fashion house's Paris runway show. And yes, there's a Kanye lyric for that label as well (See "Looking for Trouble," in which he directs, "Take off that Givenchy and let's get raunchy").
