Yesterday in her first ever runway show, Chloe Sevigny debuted her Resort 2012 collection for Opening Ceremony. Fashion editors, bloggers, & all the cool kids of NY filled up a church gym in downtown NY with much anticipation. In a collection of pieces she describes as a "sexy teen dream" - she teamed up with the cult 90's brand, Vision Street Wear to bring alive some of the elements of her youth.

We spoke to her about this time of her life when she got her start in the fashion world, interning at Sassy magazine. "I was always interested in fashion and the ins and outs of it, and I just got a lucky break. I met Andrea (Linett) and she offered me a job because she liked my style. I was still in high school, living at home and I would take the train in everyday". Starting anywhere you can and learning everything about your vocation are what she advises for all those summer's interns out there, "..any opportunity you can take to see what goes on in the industry you want to be in, from any view point is great."
