Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman? That is the impression I got when checking out the new Imperiale collection with Chopard. A redo of an older collection, the Imperiale is a boldly designed watch for proudly regal ladies with a distinct sense of luxury that is feminine, without being cute or submissive. Chopard will offer a wide range of models in various materials (steel and gold combos) as well as models with a whole range of diamonds encrusted options.

Available in three sizes, the Imperiale watches are either 28, 36, or 40 millimeters in diameter. Chopard finishing and details are legendary, while the cases themselves are richly featured as well as easy to read. My suggestion is to go for one with an excellent Chopard bracelet (though
you can opt for a alligator strap). The top level 40mm wide models contain something very special for the watch lover - a new in-house made mechanical automatic movement by Chopard. Others have more basic Swiss quarts movements.

Prices for Chopard Imperiale watches start at about $4,000 for the steel 28mm wide steel model and soar up to about $375,000 for the totally diamond covered 18k white gold model with the in-house movement.
