Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Jessica White is currently penning her own novel which she told Modelina
is "a healing book and part autobiography" called "Overcoming Your Greatest Hurt." We're not sure if the hurt she's overcome includes her breakup with Sean Penn or her recent brush with the law - last October she was accused of getting into a serious catfight outside a NYC club with a woman over a cab. According to today's news, Jessica has definitely overcome the latter (all charges were dropped), and she's been focusing on other projects including an upcoming reality show, planning an anti-child abuse campaign and creating a skin-care line for women of color.
The girl's certainly got a lot going on and really has had a rocky past that includes addiction and abuse, all of which she'll outline in her novel slated to be released at the beginning of next year.
And Jessica's not the first model to suddenly turn into a novelist. In fact, several supermodels have written (or co-authored) memoirs, self-help books and even fiction trilogies to let the world know that they're able to pick up a pen and use it for something a little more substantial than signing contracts.
