Tavi Gevinson, is not your average teen (see images of her with Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld in the Gallery above). The pint sized blogger's first assignment as a guest blogger for Jane Pratt's new website took us inside the contents of her school locker. Now that she is done with school for summer, we decided to ask her a few questions about her latest gig, favorite thrift store finds and her ideal super power:

How is it to work with Jane?
It's great!

Are you getting along?
We hate each other.

What inspired your first column?
When publications usually have people do guest posts they do those "in my bag" things, but I'm not a person who goes to work every day and I don't like have a bag or whatever. My locker was right there and I was just staring at all that stuff that is now on my dining room table.

How long does it take you to get dressed in the morning?
It depends. On a school day I will take as much sleep as I can and maybe get dressed like 10 minutes. If I can use all the time I want to put together an outfit it can be like 45 minutes. I guess I should be embarrassed about that but for me its like making a painting.

Do you have anything you wear every day?
I have like a school girl skirt that I probably wear three times a week and I have certain things like accessories that I interchange throughout the day like bows and stickers and things.

What are you most excited to wear now that school is out?
I hate summer dressing! You can't wear anything! My school was pretty relaxed about dress code but I like my bathing suit a lot. It has an astronaut on it. And I have this Beavis and Butt-head tie dyed crop top I am excited for.

If you could only shop in one store for the rest of your life, what would it be??
Thrift store. Definitely. Lots of variation.

One thrift store in particular?
The Village Discount here in Chicago. The other day I found a pair of Mary Jane Doc Martins for $5.

What is your best thrifting find ever?
I went antique shopping yesterday and found a Norman Rockwell painting. The one of a girl looking into a mirror trying to imitate a magazine.

If you could only wear clothes from one decade what would it be?
probably the 60s but I mean I like now because I have the whole selection of decades!

First designer purchase?
I thrifted a lot of designer stuff earlier, but I believe the first thing I really bought was Hussein Chalayan.

Who is your ideal shopping partner?
Maybe like Iris Apfel? Because she has such a good mix of high and low and everything. And buys jewelry for her stuffed animals. She would just be so fun.

What is the last song you downloaded?
The Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack.

What is your favorite magazine to read?
That's so mean! Good question, but so hard! I have a lot of favorite magazines but probably The New Yorker because you said read and there is a lot of different kinds of writing.

What do you prefer: Facebook or Twitter?
Facebook I don't know why, I kind of abandoned my Twitter.

You can have any superpower...
Time travel. Then I can go back to the 60s and have a great selection of clothes!
