Disco Jumpsuits Get a Modern Makeover

Believe it or not, there are ways to wear a jumpsuit without looking like you're high-tailing it straight back into the '60s or '70s. The trend took us on a trip down memory lane -- Marc Jacobs showed orange, red and magenta disco duds with flared bottoms and embellished belts on his spring 2011 runway, and Diane Von Furstenberg sent models down the runway in printed jumpsuits that seemed to be a nod to her all-night-long dance sessions back at Studio 54.

However the jumpsuit's come full circle for summertime, offering versions in pretty pale hues and dainty floral prints that, whether paired with a blazer like Rose Byrne or worn on their own, are perfectly subtle pieces for any day or night time affair. The 1970's was the worse decade for men & women's fashion & I don't care what is done, they'll never look good. Yards of polyester. Hip huggers, bell bottoms, chains, shirts open to the navel, wide wide ties, huge collars, dig the Elvis jumpsuit look?, Yuck!

At least it's not bell bottoms and rabbit purses. These jumpsuits were a bane to many a woman when having to use the bathroom, one has to pull down the entire upper outfit down to use the toilet. It was like having to dress and re-dress all the time. Hated them and never will wear them again. What a hassle.

Don't care what you do to a jumpsuit, it still looks like a pair of overalls. The 1970's was the worse decade for men & women's fashions. Yards of polyester. Pants suits. Heehives. Bell bottoms, hip huggers, wide collars & ties, wide belts, pointed shoes with heels (men & women), shirts unbuttomed to the waist, tons of gold chains & long dirty looking hair.

Still ugly. In fact the flower prints look like flour sacks. Not attractive. I don't care who designs them or what they cost. They are still a huge pain when you have to go to the bathroom. But the women with money and no common sense will blindly buy them because they are the lastest thing. Idiots.
